helping the community The Company Established in 2014, Circle A Home for Horses is a non-profit organization located in Virginia Beach, VA which is dedicated to improving the lives of at-risk children and rescued equines through paired bonding, learning, and fellowship. They are a fully functioning equine rescue, saving horses from situations of slaughter, abuse, and inhumane treatment. Their incredibly dedicated care team rehabilitates these equines to prepare them for adoption to a forever home or induction into their equine-assisted youth therapy program.

The Problem Circle A Home for Horses was growing quickly and they were running out of space for all their supplies. Food was kept on the ground which made it susceptible to water damage and critters, medications were difficult to access, and there was little space for quality of life products such as winter and summer blankets for the horses. They were in desperate need of a solution that would allow them to quickly access the materials they needed while improving the storage environment that could protect their supplies from damage. They acquired a new storage building but needed a solution that could fully utilize its capacity. Because Circle A Home for Horses is a non-profit organization, money can often be tight. Kate Flowers, the organization’s Co-President, reached out to Indoff’s local Partner, Jim Riley, to discuss possible solutions. Jim was excited to help a great cause and a partnership was created to provide a solution that could have a lasting impact on the organization.

The Solution Jim Riley, a local Indoff partner, visited their location to take measurements of the space and to listen to what the organization’s needs were. With his newly acquired knowledge regarding their situation he was able to tap into the vast Indoff network of manufacturers to find a company that would be willing to donate industrial-grade racking materials. Jim was also able to secure a team of professionals to quickly install the new shelving system so they could begin moving supplies to the new facility with little downtime.

The Benefits Due to Jim’s knowledge and experience, paired with Indoff’s access to a wide variety of manufactures, Circle A Home for Horses is now able to keep up with the demand of their growing organization which houses anywhere from thirty to fifty horses at any given time. They will experience cost savings not only from a reduction of damaged goods but also from increased efficiency and productivity of their volunteers and staff. Additionally, due to this newly founded partnership, they hope to continue to grow their services to additional people in the community that are in need of support and rehabilitation. “Jim not only jumped at the opportunity to help us but was also a pleasure to work with. We look forward to working with Indoff again on future projects.” Kate Flowers - Co-President
