At the Indianapolis Art Center, the safety and well-being of our campers, students, patrons, and staff is our highest priority. Our virtual camp offerings will begin in June and continue into July to coincide with our already fantastic onsite camps, classes, and Make It Take Its. We are continuously taking action to protect our creative community by adhering to the following policies and procedures:

• Online camps offer virtual art opportunities at home!

Material kits are included and available for curbside pick-up. • Masks must be worn throughout in the building, including in every studio and all common areas. • Social distancing is enforced, with studios and class sizes having been reduced and reorganized to provide a distance of at least 6 feet between students.

• Breaks will mostly be outdoors, weather permitting. • Campers and staff are encouraged to frequently wash hands. Restrooms are one occupancy use at a time. We have also added an outdoor hand washing station. • Studios with shared equipment have policies in place to ensure equipment is cleaned and sanitized after each use, though we do try to limit the amount of shared materials. • Curbside drop-off and pick-up for students at the East

Entrance, allowing us to take the students to and from their car more quickly and safely. • Directional routes and standing spaces have been clearly marked throughout the halls. • Shields have been installed at Guest Services and the

Library Coffee Bar. • Building is routinely sanitized and classrooms are thoroughly cleaned at the end of each class.
