Make Your Toilet Cleaner With Concealed Flush Valves
Every toilet has a flush mechanism to get rid of human wastes after the toilet is used. Flushing makes the toilet cleaner and odour-free. It reduces the chances of contamination and makes the toilet ready for the next use.
The object which is responsible for the flushing job is the flush valve. The flush valve is a round, cylindrical object that is located within the flush tank. Most of the toilets have a lever or a button to activate the flush valve. If you ever look into the toilet tank, you will come across a circular area from where the water is let into the tank. The main objective of that area is to open the flap as soon as the flush is triggered so that water passes from the tank to the toilet bowl. The flapper helps to hold the water in the tank till the flush is activated.
How does a toilet valve work?
When water enters the tank through the supply pipe, the same is regulated by a trip lever located inside the tank. The tank contains a plastic ball which activates the trip lever. As the water starts filling, the weight ball goes up till it reaches the fill line. The weight ball cuts the water supply when the tank gets filled to the brim. A flapper gets into position which is connected to the flush valve and is controlled by the flush lever. When the toilet is flushed, the flapper opens itself and releases the water completely. The floating ball drops. When the tank is filled again, then the ball rises up till the tank is loaded. And then the toilet can be flushed again.
