Step out of the ordinary and into the extraordinary ’Tis the Season for A Merry Prairie Holiday at Conner Prairie

It’s the most magical time on the Prairie with over 500 holiday light vignettes, 1,046 acres for exploration and countless opportunities to step back in history with our storytellers.

Safety, Our Top Priority

This year, safety matters more than ever, and Conner Prairie has taken significant steps to make this festival safe, and will be abiding by all CDC recommendations. For a full list of our safety precautions, please visit: connerprairie.org/reopen.

A Magical Evening Winter Tradition Returns

Glittering lights, thoughtful storytellers, and warm fires will transport you from your day-today into the stories of yesterday and the traditions of tomorrow. A Merry Prairie Holiday (presented by The Hagerman Group) is celebrating its second season at Conner Prairie, starting November 27. It’s time to get into the holiday spirit!

· Step into our historic Prairietown to visit the Christmas Eve traditions of the 1800’s

· Visit the 60-foot-long Noah’s Ark or the twenty-five-foot tall Old Man Winter as you explore our 500+ twinkling light vignettes

· Zoom down the 150-foot hill (no snow required!) at our Polar Bear Plunge sledding hill

· See Santa at his North Pole Workshop as he and his elves get ready for the big night ahead · Take a spin on Kringle’s Carousel under a moonlit night

Conner Prairie Is Giving Back

Conner Prairie’s service to the youth of Indiana extends far beyond hosting fourth grade field trips. Throughout the year our doors are open to youths facing challenging circumstances via Hamilton County’s Youth Assistance Program and, beginning this year, we’re building a new partnership with A Kid Again, an organization supporting families raising children living with life-threatening illnesses. This holiday season, we’ve invited over 200 of these families to attend a special VIP adventure at A Merry Prairie Holiday to help provide a timeout from the challenges of lifelong illness.
