Welcome Visitors,

Welcome to 10 exciting days that provide a full spectrum of all things outdoors with the 59th Annual Ford Indianapolis Boat Sport & Travel Show, the 16th Annual Indiana Deer Turkey & Waterfowl Expo and the 22nd Annual Indiana Motorcycle Expo. For the past 59 years, the Boat Sport & Travel Show has been a beloved event in the state of Indiana for a countless number of outdoor adventurists. One of the traditions that have defined this show over the years is the location where all of these outdoor lifestyles have been exhibited: The Indiana State Fairgrounds. Over the years there have been many changes and renovations to the buildings that house this huge event. The latest building to be renovated, and what most visitors consider to be the cornerstone of the Fairground’s labyrinth of buildings, is the historical Coliseum. Interestingly, it was is in this exact building, way back in 1954, that the Boat, Sport and Travel Show first began its foray into hosting and featuring outdoor recreation. That’s right! Originally, the entire February show was held exclusively inside the Coliseum. Our bustling show has grown over the years to its current foot print which incorporates 6 complete buildings right here inside the Indiana State Fairgrounds. The Coliseum has provided countless numbers of visitors with fun filled entertainment for many long years; however, as with most fine structures, many years of use lead to deterioration. And so it is now time for our Coliseum to submit to some much needed and long overdue renovations. When the Coliseum is finished in 2015 it will still be that familiar building we are used to seeing from the outside, but its interior will be transformed into a modern day facility. We are very excited to see this historical building receive a long overdue structural change, and we look forward to having it back online for the 2015 show. While renovations are being completed, we have had to make a few changes to our floor plan. First and most importantly, even with the loss of such a substantial building as the Coliseum, we have managed to preserve and will continue to feature all of our exhibitors that our Sport Show visitors have been accustomed to seeing each and every year. The Travel and Tourism exhibitors have been temporarily moved to the Champions Pavilion alongside our newest and latest feature, the Quiet Sports Area. We highly advise everyone to utilize our show program and to be aware of the directional signs throughout the show. These useful strategies will be helpful for all people attending this year’s event in navigating their way around our show. It’s always a pleasure to hear Sport Show stories from all the wonderful folks who have been coming to our shows over the years. These stories told to us by Sport Show devotees, who annually attend our event with their children and whose children now attend with their own kids, is a testament and validation of the family oriented show that we purposely strive to achieve each year. All of us here at Renfro Productions would like to thank our dedicated, outdoor fans who inspire us each year to promote an event that is useful, entertaining, and fun for the whole family. Finally, we would like to thank all of our exhibitors and sponsors for without them there would be no show.

Kevin Renfro President

Hoosier Motorcycle Hall of Fame - sponsored by River Road From the very early days signified by the 1910 Kokomo Manufacturers Motorcycle, (which was only made from 1910 through 1912) through the early days of Board Track and Dirt track racing this collection is sure to amaze you. Many of these pieces are on loan from private collectors who themselves have a direct connection to the industry “back in the day”. Racing trophies, memorabilia, driver’s suits and leather helmets will be displayed along with bikes. Also included is an extensive display of photographs. There just might be an expert on hand to share their knowledge and stories of the golden age of motorcycling. These items can only be seen at the Indiana Motorcycle Expo.
