This spring's third bi-annual Girl's Night In is shaping up to be an enjoyable evening with laughs, prizes and plenty of mingling. It is a fun night for women of all ages 19 years and up, as a bar will be available due to popular demand. Lorna Munday has organized three fundraising evening so far. Last year's events raised money for The Breast Cancer Unit of Winchester District Memorial Hospital and The Dundas County Food Bank. This spring's proceeds will go to Dundas County Hospice and Jan Clapp will be the guest speaker. The next charity, held this fall, is already decided: The Winchester Fire Department for much needed equipment.
The details for Tuesday June 14th are as follows: at 6:30 pm the doors open. Admission is $10 per lady ($5/ senior) and the evening winds down at 10pm. With 28 vendors expected, and the Curling Hall maximum capacity set a 136 people, you'd better plan to get there on time. There will be goodie bags for the first 50 people, snacks all evening, the Bar ready to serve you, special treats from Kim Lapierre of Sugar Plum Bakery in Morewood, a silent auction for amazing items from jewelry, clothing, fudge, an hour long massage, dinner for two, etc. As well there are 6 individual auctions, a 50/50 draw, and product demos. Lorna Munday, the organizer, will be getting a makeover!

Your $10 admission includes a chance for a door prize, snacks, and a clothing exchange. The clothing exchange will work this way: Bring in 10 items and take home 10 items. Participation is not necessary, but all clothing must be clean and with no tears. The remainders will be sold piece by piece, and what is left unsold will be donated to House of Lazarus.
