Cornwall’s Only Off Leash Dog Park is Open! The plans for the future include holding dog events here, renting the space for dog clubs to hold training here, evolving as the needs of the community evolves. Why not give it a try?

The Locke Family has opened their K-9 Courtyard for your use. After much research and talk about a city run park, they went ahead and built a private one last year. They had a great location, the land available, and the Fence Depot resources to build it. The Locke’s smoothed the land, fenced it, put in grass, a mural and a waterfall. They have funded it completely; it is not city run, no taxpayer money. Membership makes a lot of sense with a dog park. There is the feeling of ownership, respect and definitely security. The users of the park, the dog owners, are charged a nominal fee to help fund the work done and fund the future plans for the space. The dogs are owner supervised and must have up-to-date immunization, leash and collars. Your dog is free to explore the fenced space, free from wild animals like skunks or rabid animals, while you are nearby. You can play too or take a break on the benches. The park is monitored and maintained, and garbage cans with doggie waste bags are available for your use. There is night lighting and near future plans for agility equipment. The 24/7 two acre park is divided into three sections: large dogs, small dogs, and agility.
