We have in our midst a true computer guru, Dave Bowles, owner of Bowco Computer Services, located in Lancaster at 203 Military Road. Dave attended university studying Biology and fooled around with an Apple II computer. When his professors asked him where he found the program for the detailed graphs he was handing in for his labs, he casually answered, “I wrote it.” They simply asked, “If you can do this, why are you taking Biology?” He thought about it, agreed, and quit university. Computer languages were second nature for him. Dave signed up for a computer course at St. Lawrence College. At that time, the textbook for 1st and 2nd years were one. Dave absorbed all the information as soon as possible and was bored for 2nd year. He quit college and went to work for a friend in his computer store. He had the opportunity to visit his uncle in Yellowknife and forgot to come back! Dave worked for a computer store in Yellowknife as a computer sales manager but mostly did the technician's job. When they were unable to pay him for the position he was doing, he found work at First Air instead. He worked there from 2001-2004,

flying around fixing computers. Meanwhile he What can Dave do for you?
