November and December are undoubtedly the busiest months for most retailers as customers search for the perfect Christmas gifts. Whether you run storefront business, or or strictly sell ecommerce, it’s time to create a holiday sales strategy. If you make the bulk of your profits between November 15 and January 15th as in Black Friday or the day after Christmas, it is time to make sure that your business is ready for the holiday sales rush. Even if the holidays are not your peak season, you better put something on sale in November just to make sure you end fourth quarter on a high note. It’s time to be thinking about a few keys thing to make sure you are ready, and have backups in place. Preparation is the key. Consider things like what you need to stock up on to fill your holiday orders. You also want to place your marketing plans in place now for things like Google Adwords, Instagram and Facebook ad campaigns. It is also time to mail your direct mail offer, plan a local media print ads promotion keeping in mind that consistency is the key. You can also get ready to host an open house for your loyal customers. Here’s a list of a few things that you’ll need to have in place to win big this holiday seasons. Order Your Inventory: Inventory shortages are real issue at holiday time. Look at what your sales were last holiday season to determine what items you need to have in place. Order your packaging, branded shipping boxes and raw materials in advance. Be sure to order extra too. You could be one media mention away
from completely being sold out, but that’s a good problem to have. Communicate With Your Vendors: Start communicating with your manufacturers and distributor partners about your holiday plan. Make sure you have a back-up for your main supplier in case they are backed up with other customers. Manufacturers may hire temporary help too for the holidays, so if you have a product that requires a high-level of detail, you may want to order product early. Prep Packaging in Advance: Presentation is everything. If your packaging is signature to your brand, set up everything that you can in advance so that you “WoW” the customers with their holiday orders. Get as much ready ahead of time, before the orders start coming. You want to protect your brand so your quality does not suffer in the holiday rush. Contact Your Merchant Account Provider: If your sales boom over the holidays, you need to make sure that your credit card processor provides a daily limit high enough to process all of the transactions. You might just be fortunate enough to be selling the hot Christmas toy which will generate huge sales, and could shut down your shopping cart. Black Friday or End of YEAR Blowout Marketing: Figure out now what specials you want push for this holiday season. These are major shopping holidays. You might want to develop special product bundles just for those days, or offer special pricing on your biggest selling items or volume discounts as well. If you get well prepared for the holiday shopping season, your Christmas will be merry and bright. You’ll start 2017 is the green, and can take some time off to ring in the new year. Smart marketing will deliver amazing results.

6 Tips for Preparing Your Home for Winter In summertime, we tend to forget that winter is coming. But now is the best time to prepare for the icy months! Canadian winters are known for their cold temperatures, strong winds, and plenty of snow, ice and sleet. This wild weather can wreak havoc on a home if the home is not properly winterized and prepared for what nature might have in store. PET LOVERS

“Pica” - A Dangerous, Compulsive Disorder to eat Unnatural Objects The time to take positive action is the first moment you see your pet pick up and show an interest in swallowing a non-food item. Do not let this compulsive disorder continue. As you may soon find yourself living on edge with, 'a thousand ways, your pet can die.' These non-food items your pet is driven to swallow, can be anything! A chunk of plastic, rocks, socks, fish hooks, string, gloves, wood, tube of paint, yarn, crystals, batteries, glass, ornaments, toilet or tissue paper, carpeting, clothing, jewelry, shoes, cutlery, electric razor (yes, even one of my own dogs once ate my hubby's electric razor!) electrical cords, remote controls, coins, etc. As you can see; the list is endless and there is no sense in their choice whatsoever! They are simply and compulsively drawn to swallow these objects.
“Pet Adoption Corner” Sponsored by the Easyfinder
Just from reading the list of items above, I know you understand how dangerous 'pica' is. Your pet can be fatally poisoned in swallowing only ONE penny! Holistic Veterinarian, Dr. Karen Becker states: “Pennies minted after 1982 pose a serious risk to pets because they're made of mostly (nearly 98 percent) zinc. Only the outer coating is copper (making up about 2.5 percent of the penny's metal). This is in sharp contrast to pennies minted prior to 1982, when they were made from about 95 percent copper. Once in your pet's stomach, stomach acid will begin to corrode the coin and in so doing, rapidly release zinc into his bloodstream. This excess zinc exposure can destroy red blood cells and cause liver damage, kidney failure and heart failure.” Only ONE penny, left in your pets' tummy, can cause a painful death! So, what can you do to help prevent pica? The answer is multiplex.
Help support this “Pet Adoption Corner” by advertising your pet store or services here 1-877-935-7503 “Together, we can make a difference” The Easyfinder Team
First step is to ensure your home is pet-safe. In the same way as parents will have child-proofed items in their home, dogs and cats are no different and also need this equivalent type of protection. They just don't know any better when they go to chomp on an electrical cord, or swallow a bottle of pills left by your bedside. It is imperative that pet parents take the same responsibility to make their home safe
for everyone living there. Please be responsible! Of course, it's vital to ensure you are feeding your pet a balanced, speciesappropriate, raw diet. This way, your pet will be receiving and utilizing all the nutrients he needs to feel physically fit. Keeping his immune system strong and healthy is the best start. If your pet is lacking a certain vitamin or enzyme, he may develop pica in the search to replace the missing minerals. Next, ask yourself if your pet is receiving the stimulation that he needs to be physically, as well as mentally fit? Have you been spending enough time with your pet, training and exercising him? If your pet is left to his own devices all day, he will find a way to amuse himself, even if it means destroying and eating his way through your entire house! Imagine being locked up in your home with nothing to do or no one to see or play with? You'd go a little bonkers too! Make sure your pet has appropriate toys and chewies to help lessen his boredom or anxiety when you are out. A treat-toy such as, 'Clever K-9' or the 'Classic Kong.' These are Treat-Release, puzzle toys for your dog to get completely entranced with, and keep him busy for a long time. Solving the puzzle of how to get the food to dispense will occupy your pet, having him use his mind and not allowing him idle time to get bored! Check with your Holistic Veterinarian and see if a pheromone collar might help to ease your pet's anxiety. Alternatively, you can try the Bach Flower Essence, 'Rescue Remedy,' well documented in relieving stress in pets. You could also look into appropriate, animal-safe, calming Essential Oils that could be left in a room, in a timerelease diffuser. Making sure your pet is properly fed, exercised, mentally-stimulated and lovingly trained. As living in a petsafe home is the very best you can do to ensure that pica never becomes an issue. ~

YOUR ANGEL MESSAGE
Be Still In the Space of B'twixt and B'tween Have you ever noticed that space, of b'twixt and b'tween? Where the big event has only ended and the mountain of 'to do's' is just there in front of you, but you just can't look at it yet? You know what you are supposed to be doing next, but something is just stopping you from pushing forward...What's up with that? (I asked the angels) The angels are here and say: “There are no mistakes in your grand adventure of life! You are not broken, nor malfunctioning. When you find you have come to this opening, it is a blessing for you! It is the time for you to simply 'be.' We know for many of you; this is a strange concept. You think to have value or be of service you must always rush and do, and do again, spinning in perpetual motion, without end. We are here to tell you, no! There is no truth in that! For there is a time in the space of b'twixt and b'tween, where you must be still. Be patient. Just breathe. You have done your part.

It is during this precious time where the angels in heaven, and the forces you set out upon the earth, meet. It is at this time, when all you needed to do have been done. It is exactly here, where you are to be still and simply ALLOW. For in this time of allowing, the results of your great works are created. Just as, in the moment an eminent artist lays down his brush, and takes a step back to allow the full picture to appear before him. Whereas whilst in the making, only fragments were seen. And in how skillfully you allow; you might be surprised at how well your dreams become manifest. I am very grateful to the angels, for giving me a new perspective, at how I can deal with this, when it comes up in my life. ~
