Tania Marie Caringi

Italian-American Tania Marie Caringi is a stunning 5'11" model. Tania Marie Caringi was born in Michigan and grew up between Michigan and Italy being of 100% Italian background on both her mother's and father's side. Tania is very proud of her Italian heritage and travels to Italy on a regular basis.

Tania began modeling at the age of 19, when she was discovered by a fashion agent while visiting Italy for summer vacation. Before she knew it, she was walking the runway and being sought after by photographers and agencies from all over the world. Since then, Tania Marie has worked for top designers and fortune 500 companies in some of the world’s most exclusive fashion markets in places such as Milan, Rome, New York, Miami, and Los Angeles. Tania Marie has been featured in GQ and Sports Illustrated.

Tania Marie has used her platform for cancer awareness and research. Her goal is to inspire hope and provide help to those affected by breast cancer through promoting education, early detection programs, and patient support services.

Although she enjoys her modeling career, her real dream and priority is making a difference and finally seeing the day that the cure for breast cancer is found.

For me, one of the most thrilling aspects of my job is learning about other people and what makes them unique. Tania Maria Caringi is a well-grounded and quite passionate about philanthropic causes close to her heart. It's my pleasure to share our engaging conversation.

William Jackson: What makes you extremely happy?

Tania Marie Caringi: What makes me truly happy is being able to bring others happiness.

William: You were born in Michigan, and you spent a few years there before you moved to California. Do you have many memories of Michigan?

Tania Marie: Michigan is partially where I grew up. It’s those chilly Christmas mornings and Thanksgiving celebrations with family which I recall fondly.

William: How did you get your start in the fashion industry?

Tania Marie: I began modeling around the age of 19.

William: Has fashion always been a passion of yours?

Tania Marie: Fashion has been a passion of mine since I was a child, just recently I found a sketchbook of dresses I’d designed as a teenager.

William: A positive change is happening in the fashion and beauty industries right now. Are you pleased about it?

Tania Marie: Recently, beauty and fashion have changed. I’m so happy to see beauty is now appreciated in all shapes and sizes. Beauty, of course, is in the eyes of the beholder.

William: Is there a deep connection between interior and exterior beauty? If so, what is it?

Tania Marie: The deep connection I’ve noticed is the radiance of a truly happy and beautiful souled person is exuded in one’s overall being.

William: What does style mean to you?

Tania Marie: Style means pushing creativity to the limit because that’s where great things are created.

William: Is it important for you to see where each experience takes you?

Tania Marie: I’m always optimistic experiences will have a better outcome than I could have predicted. Whether good or bad, experiences always leading to more opportunities to learn.

William: Tania Marie, how do you remain grounded?

Tania Marie: I remain grounded by maintaining very close relationships with my family. They’re #1 in my life.

Cancer awareness is very important to me. I lost mother to breast cancer in 2005 and I decided that day I’d dedicate my life to bringing greater awareness, using my platform to voice the importance of early detection and cancer research."

William: Staying fit and healthy requires a strong commitment. Do you believe it’s worth it?

Tania Marie: Fitness is key for overall mental and physical health. I overall fitness is very important and helps keep me to remain motivated in my everyday tasks.

William: What photo shoots and campaigns stand out most in your memory?

Tania Marie: My favorite shoot thus far has been for the French lingerie company Patrice Catanzaro. The team was amazing, and I was literally hanging off the side of the Paris hotel in Vegas. It’s all about getting the perfect shot!

William: Are there any exciting projects you’re working on now?

Tania Marie: I’m currently working on acting projects which is new and I’m very excited to see where this road leads.

William: Having traveled the world, what are some of your favorite destinations?

Tania Marie: My favorite destinations have been Taormina, Sicily and Milano, Italy.

William: Share with me why your involvement in cancer awareness efforts is so important to you?

Tania Marie: Cancer awareness is very important to me. I lost mother to breast cancer in 2005 and I decided that day I’d dedicate my life to bringing greater awareness, using my platform to voice the importance of early detection and cancer research.

William: How do you live your best life?

Tania Marie: I practice yoga and spend time alone reflecting. Staying away from negativity is huge as well.
