Fantastic Food Festivals
With Summer well and truly on the way, it’s time to break out the shorts, caps and sun cream and enjoy the outdoors!
What better way to make the most of the summer sun than at a food festival? Food festivals are great opportunities to discover new favourite foods or a quirky beverage with family and friends all while enjoying live music, cookery demonstrations, competitions and more.
A brand new festival for 2022, the Heaton Park Food Festival will be taking place on the 20th and 21st of August. Internationally inspired street food is at the heart of this event, with street food vendors hand-picked for their unique flair and high-quality dishes.
From cocktails to craft ales, with eight independent bars to choose from, you’re sure to find your favourite tipple at this event. You also won’t want to skip the artisan markets, which offer innovative produce, from hearty pies to sticky brownies, all from creative local producers.

An unmissable event for any meat-lover is the Meatopia Festival which is held in the historic Tobacco Dock, London between the 2nd and 4th September 2022. At Meatopia more than 60 world-class live-fire chefs gather to cook up their signature dishes over the grills, smokers, and fire pits, using sustainably sourced charcoal and wood.
Juicy, flame-cooked food isn’t all Meatopia has to offer. You can visit the Taptopia hall for a selection of thirst-quenching drinks, including ales, beers, wines and spirits. As if roaring fires and fantastic food and drink wasn’t enough, live music from roaming bands, DJs and singers can be heard from every corner of the event.
Turn your visit into a city break and stay at the luxurious Novotel London Canary Wharf.
