This attractive Grade II 18th century coaching inn offers boutique-style guestrooms and delicious dining.

Located in the heart of Newbury and conveniently situated for the M4, guestrooms consist of cosy doubles and twins, executive rooms, spacious junior suites and a deluxe four-poster suite. All rooms are en-suite and equipped with a hospitality tray, toiletries, a TV and free Wifi.

The hotel's restaurant, The Smoke House, is open from 6.00pm to 9.00pm every evening and serves a menu of local specialities in addition to seasonal favourites. Less formal dining is available in the bar where guests can relax with a drink and a wide choice of dishes. Breakfast is served between 7.00am and 9.00am during the week and from 8.00am to 10.00am on weekends.
