Living on the edge where the sea meets the sky in the far west of Cornwall, my eye is always drawn to the horizon line. The constantly changing seascapes and the ever-present horizon form the backdrop to myriad little scenes – items washed up on the beach, discarded or lost possessions, traces of human activity. The tide rises and falls in its ceaseless cycle bringing fresh treasures and washing away the old whilst the perpetual sound of the sea echoes in my ears...
