History Fribol started in the year 2000 and was founded by the couple Stefan and Dorte Christiansen. Fribol is produced on Stefan and Dortes farm in the Northern part of Denmark. The couple wanted to produce sugarfree products, where diabetics do not have to worry about the consequences of a raise in the bloodsugar level, and at the same time a nice taste. All of this because they had diabetes in the family. Stefan and Dorte wish to create reliable products for diabetics, and therefore contacts is established with diabetics associations many places .
