a note from Tamryn.
Our team in Limpopo, South Africa continue seeking out the lost in the highways and byways of the villages in that province. Simultaneously, our team in Ethiopia are hard at work planning for crusades in Angacha Town (19 - 22 November) and Adilo (10 - 13 December). These are smaller, rural locations with no COVID-19 cases, the local government authorities and church fraternals welcoming us with open arms. We are excited to soon see these remote communities safe and sound in the arms of our Jesus. Heartfelt thanks for your prayers and generous support. Together with you, thousands continue to be translated from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of the Light of Life!
one gospel, many tactics
We continue to be relentless in our determination to see souls saved!
Over the months of September and October, a marvellous total of 3107 men and women have been won for Jesus by our mini-crusade team in the Limpopo locations of Gonono, Manavhela, Vuwani, Malamulele, Giyani, Nghalalume and Shihosana. Various tactics have been used. Preaching in locations where people commonly queue, continues to be an effective strategy. Hundreds can be found outside post offices on certain days during the month, lining up to receive grants. Several post offices have been targeted with great success. Preaching outside government departments, court buildings and liquor stores has also proved very successful. The pandemic has resulted in limited numbers being allowed inside a building at one time, meaning that most wait outside for their turn to be served. This is wonderful news for our team, who set up their speaker system on the opposite pavement or in the parking lot. They preach the Good News with great gusto, precious people accepting the Lord and receiving follow-up material as they queue. Our follow-up material includes instructions – in Tsonga, the local language – on how to grow in the Lord and also, a salvation message, which can be ready by family members when taken home.

mini-crusade merriment Evening gatherings have also been held, promoted by word-of-mouth and the use of loudhailers. A three-day minicrusade was held on the soccer field in the village of Shihosana and a five-day mini-crusade in the village of Gonono with wonderful results. When a certain week turned rainy, our team borrowed a tent from a local pastor and held a three-day tent crusade in the village of Nghalalume. Souls were saved and the captives set free, despite the weather being cold and wet. When the South African government announced that outdoor gatherings could be held with up to 500 people in attendance, our team began planning a more formally arranged five-day mini-crusade in the village of Gumbani, preceding it with flyer distribution, intercessory meetings, volunteer training and door-to-door evangelism. When the starting date for the campaign arrived, our team carefully laid out 500 well-spaced chairs and preached the Gospel with clarity and passion. The result? Hundreds eternally transformed and local pastors getting to work following up every new convert.
