2017 DCUC SHOWCASE WITH A PURPOSE This year, our fundraising efforts will support Purple Heart Homes, a 501(c)3 public charity founded in 2008 by Dale Beatty and John Gallina, two Iraq wounded Veterans who remain on a mission to make sure no Veteran is left behind at home. Purple Heart Homes fills the gaps in housing through Veterans’ Aging In Place and Veterans Home Ownership Programs. From building a ramp for a Veteran of World War II, to providing home ownership opportunities to younger Veterans, their programs are designed out of necessity and fit the specific needs of the Veteran population. Their mission is to provide housing for Service Connected Disabled Veterans that is substantial in function, design, and quality fit to welcome home the fighting men and women of America.

While our Showcase is primarily for networking with our Corporate Partners and our CU colleagues, we strive to “make a difference” by focusing on giving back to our troops. Please take time to bid on the Silent Auction items donated by our generous friends, partners and colleagues to give back to those in the military who need our support.
