Primary Logo

Port Community Centre’s logo is a combination of many elements forming the ‘Port’ element. Seahorse camouflaging itself amongst seagrass for protection. CLEAR SPACE

A Kaurna shield representing Kaurna people, it symbolises protection as well as care.

To ensure legibility, always keep a minimum clear space around the logo. This should be the same size as the inner piece of the lifeguard ring element.

A mangrove tree representing yartapuulti the place of sleep. At certain times mangroves would release a toxin into the water which would put fish to sleep. A helm and a lifeguard ring. 50mm MINIMUM SIZE

The smallest the logo should be represented is 50mm wide.

Secondary Logo

The following secondary logo may be used in place of the primary logo is unsuitable for the application. This logo might be used where the need for a more narrow horizontal banner is presented. Additional usages could also be for letterheads, website banners, vehicle branding etc.

Additional Text

In some instances the Port Environment Centre may require additional text below the logo element. This text should be no wider than the word Centre on both Primary and Secondary variations.

Unique forms and composition create a memorable mark. Range of elements within the logo expresses diversity. All the elements to forming the ‘Port’ element symbolise community members working together. Overall mark is unique and contemporary, it shows how the centre is forwardthinking and creative. This logo may be more suitable when used in applications such as a square social media profile picture or on the left hand chest of staff uniforms.

Colour Palette

The colour usage for Port Environment centre is Cyan and Navy Blue. The logo should be used primarily as cyan on a light coloured background and white on dark or coloured backgrounds with high saturation.

The font to be used with Port Community Centre branding should always be a combination of Sharp Sans Bold for Headlines and Roboto Regular for body copy.

Leading and tracking should remain at 100% When there are instances where Sharp Sans Bold cannot be used Roboto Bold can be used in its place.
