SIXTH FORM GETTING STUDENT Unique Individuals There is no such thing as a typical Sixth Former. All skills, talents and interests, VOICES whether academic, creative or sporting, will be nurtured and celebrated. Students will be proud of their own success and the successes of their peers. Everyone’s unique identity and contribution to the community will be HEARD acknowledged.

A nurturing community

Students and staff will enjoy coming to school every day. In an environment of mutual respect, staff and students will work together and support one another to achieve more than they thought possible. Everyone will be encouraged to ‘dream big’ and will receive the support and guidance needed to achieve ambitious personal goals.

Transform the world

Our Sixth Formers will be global citizens with a sense of responsibility to positively transform the world around them. Their time in the Sixth Form will help them to develop traits such as moral courage, empathy and resilience so that they can take their place in the world and lead happy and fulfilled lives of purpose. We hope you’re excited to become a part of The King Alfred School Sixth Form. You’ll be meeting new people, delving deeper into your favourite subjects, and developing further into an all rounded, confident, self-reliant person.

As School Six, we aim to improve your school experience by being the goto point between the students and teachers. We do our best to improve the school for everyone and we’d love your input, whether this is feeding back to us about school life or joining our team. We’ll always make time to hear student feedback.
