Los Angeles shuttle, or metro, and you can walk to many places in downtown LA. There are ferries and harbors for boats as well. LAX, Los Angeles International Airport, is the 3rd busiest airport in the US.
Location: Los Angeles is located near the water, in the state of California. LA is about 15-20 minutes from the Pacific Ocean. It is the most populous city in the state of California. One of the most popular locations in LA is Hollywood, a neighborhood central in LA.
Industry/Economy The average GDP (Gross Domestic Profit) in LA is over $700 billion annually. LA has some of the best research industries. Creative industries make nearly $1 million a year, and international trade is one of the city’s biggest incomes. Map of LA
Weather: The average temperature for Los Angeles is around 50-80 degrees Fahrenheit. According to the Weather Channel Website, August is the warmest month, December is the coolest month, February is the wettest month, and July is the driest month.

Entertainment Museums, clubs, music festivals and concerts, theaters, and attractions make up much of the entertainment in LA. Los Angeles has hosted the Olympic games twice; once in 1932 and again in 1984. Pasadena has hosted the FIFA world cup in 1994, and again in 1999 for the 1984 Olympic Game Stadium Women’s World Cup. LA has also hosted the Super Bowl seven times. LA will host the 2015 Special Olympics World Summer Games.

It’s not hard to find a way of transportation in LA. You can drive a car, take a bus, ride a train, taxi, 8
Venice Beach, Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, and the Hollywood Walk of Fame are some very popular locations to visit in LA.The Getty Center houses many pieces of art, and Rodeo Drive has many shops and stores with designer clothing. Universal Studios Hollywood is a theme park and one of the oldest studios still in use Stars on the Walk of Fame today.
Miscellaneous There are many successful and popular music artists that are based in LA. 30 Seconds to Mars, Avenged Sevenfold, Foster the People, Linkin Park, Black Veil Brides, Guns N’ Roses, Maroon 5, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and many more. Actors in LA include Leonardo DiCaprio, Angelina Jolie, Marilyn Monroe, George Takei, and many more. As of 2011, the population of LA was 3.8 million. LA is very a very diverse city. The Los Angeles area that consists of 5 counties has a population of almost 20 million people. LA is also known as the entrepreneurial capital of the world. Many people call LA the “City of Angels.”
Schools/Universities University of California, Los Angeles has been noted for excellence in medical care, and UCLA students have had over 250 Olympic medals. UCLA also has a broad list of famous Alumni, ranging from researchers UCLA Campus and athletes to famous actors and celebrities. Los Angeles has 113 colleges and universities that are accredited and include excellent and awarded institutions and research centers.
