About This Therapy Guide This guide book was composed by Alexander von Bernus, in collaboration with the work of practitioners and scientific minds throughout history, and shows the effective therapeutic practice through the use of Soluna spagyric remedies. Who is Alexander von Bernus? Alexander von Bernus (1880-1965) was the founder of Laboratorium Soluna and the creator of the Soluna remedies. A famous alchemist, scientist, herbalist, poet and philosopher, Bernus was an avid follower of the works of Paracelsus. He led over 40 years of research and development to construct the Soluna healing system. Alexander von Bernus' book, "Alchymie und Heilkunst", was and still is a very important piece of literature on the subject of spagyrics and natural science. Bernus' dedication to the science of healing proved to the 20th century that there is more to alchemy than superstitions from the middle-ages.

This book is not a panacea but rather a directory of effective experiential use with the Soluna remedies and their clinical application. As Marino Lazzeroni (owner Laboratorium Soluna, 1988-1996) states: “It shows [the following therapy protocols] therapists the effective and safe use of these remedies; however it does not make the assumption of the character of each patient and the necessary conclusions for each case. Nr. 6 Dyscrasin Naturopathic Background Healthy humoral pathology is regarded as the "balance of body fluids" - which are phlegm, blood, and yellow & black bile. The imbalance is known as dyscrasia. 12 Ophthalmik is a specific remedy against eye diseases of all kinds. Nr. 12 Ophthalmik is purely solar. Solar characteristics have long been related to the eye: “Was not the sun like the eye, one would never see the sun” (Goethe) (…) A resource for the eye must thus be associated with the sun. Here, too, gold is first combined with solar medicinal plants. On the other hand, the solar characteristics that affect eyesight also are quite effective for the heart and circulation. The ingredients in the solar composition are thus slightly different than the ones used within Nr. 5 Cordiak. Nr. 12 Ophthalmik is indicated in all conditions of the eye. In some cases, if no improvement occurs through the use of Nr. 12 Ophthalmik alone, the addition of Nr. 16 Renalin and Nr. 8 Hepatik for the liver may be prescribed.
