Reimagining the Future of Women in Green Sectors in North Africa The event will discuss education solutions at university and school levels to affect future of women in green sectors. Panelists will discuss the role of national partners, including governmental agencies, non-profit organizations, and private enterprises, in providing support, funding, and resources to women-led green startups. A follow-up workshop will take place in the Impact and Empowerment Lab at 15:00. How creative stories can drive positive global change Michael Nash will present the sole documentary film to be curated into an arts and humanities time capsule destined for the lunar surface. For this film, Nash collaborated with 22 artists from diverse corners of the globe to craft artwork inspired by images in his 2010 Sundance film. Speakers: Michael P. Aysegül Akyürek (Intangible Heritage Bearer of the Ministry of Culture & Tourism of Turkey Ebru (Marbling art) is a traditional Turkish form of art from the 16th century. The artist will create designs through water and onto paper and share them with the audience. She will showcase her craft to participants.
