The Tech Heroes know the struggle of choosing the perfect laptop for school with so many options out there, but don't freak out, we've got some tips to help guide you.

It's important to know the budget you're willing to spend but that is NOT the most important detail. Understanding HOW you're going to use your new Laptop is the most important thing.Why?..

..Because if you buy a laptop that's not a good enough spec to run what you need, you've wasted a load of money and you'll need to buy another. Likewise, if you spend a tonne of money on a laptop but only use it for surfing the internet and checking emails, you've also wasted a tonne of money. Ouch!

For the vast majority of back-to-school users, grab a laptop with:

1) CAPACITY: 120Gb - 240Gb SSD (Solid State Drive)

2) CPU: Celeron or above (if you can afford an i3 or higher, even better)

4) RAM: 4-8Gb RAM

5) BATTERY: 2 hours or more

6) BUDGET: £220 - £650

DO NOT buy a laptop with less than 120Gb drive unless it’s a Chromebook - it’ll only end in tears !
