To reduce energy use related to water heating, lower your water heater thermostat setting to 120 degrees F. For each 10-degree reduction in water temperature, you can save 3 to 5 percent in energy costs. Reducing the temperature also slows mineral buildup and corrosion in your water heater and pipes, promoting longer use and more efficient operation.

2 sticks butter 3 eggs 6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 box brown sugar 2 3/4 cups self-rising flour
Directions:

Co-op Energy Efficiency Program Loans and Rebates Help Fund Energy Efficiency Improvements Our Co-op Energy Efficiency Program is designed to help our member-owners manage the cost of installing energy-efficient improvements in their homes. While there is value in practicing no-cost and low-cost measures, the more extensive energy efficiency improvements obviously make a bigger impact on your power bill. The process begins with a FREE energy audit by our member services representative to target efficiency opportunities and decide what upgrades you need to make. The Co-op Energy Efficiency REBATE Program offers rebates for the installation of high-efficiency air-source, dual-fuel or geothermal heat pumps. The Co-op Energy Efficiency LOAN Program offers two low-interest loan options to finance energyefficient home improvements. Financing is dependent upon credit approval. Monitor Your Energy Use Anytime with a FREE Online Service from Your Cooperative
MyUsage.com is a free online service from Dixie Electric Cooperative, which allows our residential member-owners to monitor their daily power consumption. After a simple online registration process, you can start monitoring how much electricity you use each day, just like you watch the gas gauge in your car. When you sign up, you can also choose to receive daily usage alerts by e-mail and high usage alerts when your daily usage exceeds a certain threshold that you determine for yourself. To sign up today, go to www.MyUsage.com. Once your registration is complete, your usage information is right at your fingertips. Just click through the tabs to learn about your energy use patterns, and go under the settings tab to set up your e-mail alerts.
