Warm Chicken Nacho Dip Ingredients: 1 can RotelÂŽ tomatoes, drained 1/2 lb.VelveetaÂŽ, cubed 1/3 cup sour cream 1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded 1/4 cup diced green onion (optional) 1 1/2 tbsps. taco seasoning mix 2 large cooked skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, shredded 1 cup black beans, rinsed and drained (optional) 2 tbsps. minced jalapeno pepper (optional) Directions: Place all ingredients into a slow cooker. Cook on high, stirring occasionally, until the cheese has melted and the dip is hot. Serve with tortilla chips or rolled up in a warm flour tortilla. Can be garnished with black olives, diced tomatoes and sour cream.

Trying to Balance Your Monthly Budget? We realize that the constant weather changes in Alabama often cause drastic fluctuations in power bills during heating and cooling seasons. Dixie has a program that is designed specifically to help our member-owners budget for these fluctuating bills. Our levelized billing program allows us to average your monthly power bill based on your current month and previous 11 months of power use. We bill you for that average amount, so your payments are approximately the same amount every month. To be placed on levelized billing, your account must be current. Also, you must be in your current residence for one year before signing up for levelized billing in order for us to have 12 months of billing history to determine your monthly levelized amount. Convenient Payment Options In addition to submitting your payment by mail, your cooperative offers a variety of convenient payment options to better serve you. These options are available at NO COST to our member-owners, and will allow your payment to post immediately to your account (with the exception of night deposit payments which are posted the morning of the next business day). We have received feedback from member-owners indicating that there are businesses and online sites representing themselves as being authorized payment locations for Dixie. We NEVER charge a fee for making a payment through the options offered by Dixie, so if they are charging a fee, they are definitely NOT affiliated with your cooperative.
In Office
Payments can be made at our Arrowhead and Union Springs offices from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. We accept MasterCard and Visa credit or debit cards, as well as cash, checks and money orders. We also have a night deposit available at both locations; however, please do NOT place cash in the night deposits.
By Phone
Payments can be made over the telephone using our automated account information system. We accept MasterCard and Visa credit or debit cards. E-checks can also be used over the phone; however, you must first set up an e-check profile either online or by completing a form in our office.
Online
Payments can be made online using our customer service portal. Simply visit us at www.dixie.coop and click the pay bill button. We accept MasterCard and Visa credit or debit cards, as well as e-checks. You can also use our auto pay feature on the portal to set up automatic payments.
Mobile Apps
Our mobile app is available for Android and Apple devices. We accept MasterCard and Visa credit or debit cards, as well e-checks through the apps.
Bank Draft
If you prefer traditional bank draft, you can complete a form in our office and provide a copy of a cancelled check for payments to be drafted from your bank account on your due date.
Important Notice Regarding Payments While other local and online companies may offer options to submit your payment to us, please note that they are NOT affiliated with Dixie Electric Cooperative. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for late charges or disconnection of service for non-payment if payment is delayed due to the use of a third-party vendor. To ensure your payment reaches us in a timely manner, we recommend that you utilize one of our FREE, convenient payment options.
