It’s Annual Meeting Time!
On Tuesday, Oct. 10, Canoochee EMC is hosting our Annual Meeting of Members at the Tattnall Campground in Claxton, and you’re our VIP guest! Why? Because you’re a member of the co-op, and members are at the heart of everything we do.
Canoochee EMC hosts this annual event specifically for you. It’s a time to connect with your co-op team and directors, as well as fellow members of our community.
Bring a guest, and be sure to check out the innovative technologies driving the energy future of our community as we host our first-ever Electric Vehicle (EV) Car Show. We’ll kick things off at noon, providing drinks and snacks to guests and members, and Clayton Hackle will take the stage from noon to 2 p.m. The business meeting will begin promptly at 2 p.m.
We may power your life, but you give us the energy we need to do it! Spending time with our members is not only fun, but also essential for the cooperative.
Our team is ready to answer any energy-related questions you have, from EV options to ways to manage your home energy use.

2023 Canoochee EMC Annual Meeting of Members
The Annual Meeting of Members of the Canoochee Electric Membership Corp. will be held at the Tattnall Campground at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2023, as provided in the Bylaws to take action on the following:
1. Report of officers, manager and committees;
2. Election of three directors to serve terms of three years; and
3. Transaction of all other business that might be brought before the meeting or adjournment thereof.
In connection with the election of directors, the following member-owners have been nominated by the Committee of Nominations to serve a term of three years as provided by the Bylaws:
• District 6: LaNell Oliver
• District 4: Robert H. “Bob” Floyd
• District 7: Kenneth L. Durrence
