Payment will be withdrawn on the due date — around the 22nd of the month With your authorization for automatic bank draft, your Woodruff Electric bill can be automatically deducted from your bank account each month. You save the hassle of writing a check and mailing it back to Woodruff Electric. The withdrawal will be made on or about the 22nd of each month – the due date of the bill for most accounts. There will be no fees involved. You will receive your bill at the regular time – on about the first of the month for most accounts. You will then have until the due date to review your bill and work out any
questions or problems you may have. The deduction will be shown on your bank statement each month, just like if you had written a check. You can stop the Automatic Bill Payment process at any time with a simple phone call to a Woodruff Electric office. To start paying your electric bill by Automatic Bill Payment, just complete the authorization below and send it to Woodruff Electric along with a voided check or blank deposit slip.

BEAT THE PEAK
3p.m. to 7p.m. And Lower Your Energy Bills
The price your cooperative pays for power can vary greatly! Power is most expensive during the hot summer months between the “Peak” hours of 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. By limiting the amount of power purchased during these “Peak” high-priced energy periods, we can reduce our total power costs and provide significant savings for our members.
This authority is to remain in full force and effect until Woodruff Electric and Bank have received notification from me (or either of us) of its termination in such time and manner as to afford Woodruff Electric and Bank a reasonable opportunity to act on it. I (we) have the right to stop payment of charge entries by notifying the Bank prior to the time the account has been charged. Any erroneous or incorrect charge will be corrected upon notification of the Bank. Woodruff Electric has the right to remove me (us) from this service for failing to have sufficient funds in my account to make the charge. Date

Capital Credits distributed In June, many members received a check for your capital credit retirement if you were a member of Woodruff Electric in 1983 and 2016. Everyone looks forward to receiving a check, but not everyone really understands what it represents. Every member is allocated a proportionate share of the cooperative’s earnings each year. Annually, the board of directors of the cooperative will evaluate the financial condition of the co-op to determine the amount of capital credit allocations to be retired. This year the board of directors voted to return over $1.1 million dollars to the members of the cooperative.
Russell Bonner (center) of Arrowhead Farms near Monroe, accepted their Capital Credit check delivered by Woodruff Electric President/CEO, Michael Swan, right, and Frankie Parson, left, Manager of Moro District.
Core-Mark President, John Mollet, center, in Forrest City accepts the company’s Capital Credit share from Vice President of Office Services, Ron Cockmon, right, and Rodney Kelso, left, Vice President of Operations.
As a member of Woodruff Electric Cooperative, you are one of approximately 11,000 owners. This is a fundamental difference between a cooperative and an investor-owned utility. All of the owners of Woodruff Electric receive electric service from the co-op, as do all the directors. All pay the same rates and receive the same service. Providing safe, reliable electric service at the lowest cost consistent with sound economy and good management is our goal at Woodruff Electric. Working together as a cooperative since 1937, we now have over 4,900 miles of line and over $174 million in total assets. Woodruff Electric is proud to be your local energy partner.
Swan and Parson presented Brian Krigbaum, General Manager of EnviroTech Chemical Services located in Helena, the company’s share of capital.
CEO/President, Michael Swan, right, and Augusta District Manager, Teddy Little, left, present Carolyn Wilson, Superintendent of Cross County School District, with the school district’s share of capital.
Swan and Little also presented Burl Simmons, Mayor of Augusta, with the city’s capital credit check. The city of Augusta operates its own electric distribution system, but buys its wholesale power from Woodruff Electric.
