Day 1 – Lisbon

Day 2 – Lisbon

Visit the most picturesque Lisbon’s oldest quarters Alfama, Graça and Mouraria. After a walking tour taste typical tapas as Pastel de Bacalhau and Empada. Enjoy a Fado Dinner. (B/-/D)

Day 3 – Sintra – Cascais

Stroll around the picturesque streets of Sintra and surroundings and taste the gastronomy and pastry of the region. Travel from Sintra to Colares for a wine tasting at the Colares wine cellar. Visit and learn its history and how these wines have such a distinctive flavour. Travel from the Sintra mountains to the coastline, continue along the village of Azenhas do Mar and the surf destination of Guincho in Cascais (B/L/-) Day 6 – Schist Villages

Continue to the villages of Janeiro de Cima to Janeiro de Baixo, walk among the schistbuilt houses, discover the secrets of working the linen. Janeiro de Baixo rises in the horizon and is the perfect location to spend the rest of the afternoon. (B/-/D)

Day 7 – Schist Villages

Visit the last group of the Schist villages where the village’s oven is still used by the locals to bake their own bread. Don’t miss “Casa das Artes e Ofícios”, a shop with local products. End the visit in Sarzeda, the only schist village that received a nobility title and distinguishes itself for the coloured traces of the facades. Travel to Lisbon. (B/-/D)

Enjoy your breakfast at your hotel and private transfer to the airport. HIGHLIGHTS

Day 4 – Schist Villages

After Breakfast transfer to the Schist village, entering in the Lousã mountains, explore and see its artisans’ ability to work the stone. Visit the traditional villages of Talasnal and Casal Novo and walk the nature trails that will take you to the Chiqueiro and Senhora da Piedade river beach. (B/-/D)
