During this unique excursion you paddle in front of the modern skyscrapers situated along the city oceanfront by Cinta Costera or the Balboa Avenue on our right, and overlooking at the distance Taboga Island, Amador Islands, and vessels waiting their turn to enter the canal in our left hand with the Amador Coastway and Casco Antiguo in front. We will finish at the beach in front of the Old Town of Panama City.

Barro Colorado Island is located at the center of Gatun Lake. We will travel by boat along the Canal with a nature specialist. The river is classified as Class III-IV. After a safety briefing, you will be on the river at around 9:30 a.m. Aside from rafting fun in the warm water, you can watch capuchino monkeys, howler monkeys, toucans, amazons and with a little luck maybe even a jaguar before heading back to Panama City in the late afternoon.
