With a programme, which focuses on sustainable building in correlation with UN’s 17 Global Goals, the environmental impact of building solutions, sustainable cities, future living trends, and innovation and technology – all topics, which have been selected in cooperation with the industry’s leading knowledge partners and innovative producers – we offer to extraordinarily inspiring days at Centralværkstedet. SYSTEM THINKING FOR A CIRCULAR WORLD
Meet two ambitious change makers who are aiming to transition buildings and cities to a fundamentally more sustainable and circular state. Gerard Roemers, systems consultant and researcher at Metabolics, will introduce you to his views and experiences with circular spatial planning, circular building design and mapping material flows in cities and neighborhoods. His presentation will be followed by a dialogue with Ditte Lysgaard Vind from Lendager TCW where they will analyze the current metabolism and circular state of cities in Denmark versus the Netherlands and share thoughts about future development. LIVING IN NATURE CITY
Nature City, WORKac’s seminal examination of the future for urban living, combining sustainable infrastructure with alternative forms of housing was exhibited at New York’s Museum of Modern Art in 2012. In the time since the firm has worked to design and realize many visionary green projects inspired from their research and projects for Nature City. How does Aarhus Municipality build more sustainable? The Climate Secretariat hosts a series of conversations and debates between essential actors in the building industry, who in fellowship impact the sustainable building and city development in Aarhus.

INNOVATION VILLAGE
lBuilding Green has invited the innovative and unique ideas to be present at the new exhibition area Innovation Village. There are many grass roots, entrepreneurs, start-ups and students etc. who have valuable sustainable ideasfor the building industry, which are waiting to be portrayed at the correct forum in order to be concretised. In Innovation Village at the Balcony at CentralvĂŚrkstedet the projector will focus on these enthusiasts, who with their ideas and solutions can create value for built-up areas, and inspire the more established actors in the building industry.
GOGREENWITHAARHUS BYVANDRING
Sydhavnen equals a transformation from an old industrial area to an urban business environment. Here you can dive into the city development of Sydhavnen, where we amongst other things will visit Frederiks Plads, the Comwell Hotel, Kulbroen, Bylageret and other construction projects, which are developed through a combination of old and new, rough and polished, sustainable and nonsustainable. 7
CITY OF WOOD The Climate Secretariat, Via University College, Circularity Cityand Climate KIC Nordic are responsible for the exhibition: ´City of Wood´, which consists of several material samples on tree-based building components and parts. There will be both traditionally based elements and innovative components. The ambition is to give a deeper insight into the utilisation of tree in building and to get a sense of the new tendencies in the industry.
