THE PLATFORM FOR KNOWLEDGE SHARING ON SUSTAINABLE BUILDING AND ARCHITECTURE

Building Green is the meeting point of the building industry for sustainable building, where network and important knowledge are exchanged to accelerate sustainable build. We facilitate relations between partners in the building industry through events, conferences, and knowledge.

Building Green is especially known for the large Building Green events, which brings the whole building industry together with professional presentations and exhibitions of sustainable building products and solutions. It is a unique platform, where those with interests for sustainable building and architecture meet with suppliers of green solutions for construction.

In 2023 we are hosting Building Green Hamburg and Amsterdam for the first time, where we will attract architects, developers, entrepreneurs and other important experts through an ambitious stage program, innovative activity areas and exciting exhibitions, so that we together can make the building industry more sustainable and comply with the large climate and environmental concerns, which our society faces.

By cooperating with organisations and stakeholders across the building industry we aim at gather as many actors from as many parts of the value chain as possible. Our goal is to create a yearly forum where people meet and together drive a sustainable development of the industry.

THE MEETING BETWEEN SUSTAINABLE EXHIBITORS AND RELEVANT ACTORS IN THE INDUSTRY

Our concept is quite unique in the sense that we put knowledge and the sharing of knowledge in the center of our event. This means that we develop a 2-day full program with high-level inspirational keynotes and debates about the most important subjects within sustainable architecture, urban development, and construction.

As a Building Green partner, you will have an opportunity to join an event and platform for sharing your knowledge and put forward some of the themes that are important for you. In Denmark we have knowledge partner such as The Danish Association of Architects, Danish Association of Architectural Firms, Green Building Council Denmark, The Danish Association of Construction Clients, Danish Technological Institute, and the Royal Danish Academy of Architecture, Design and Conservation. In Hamburg we have already made partnerships with Ministry of Environment, Climate, Energy and Agriculture, DGNB, and GGBA – German Green Building Association.

The high-level program is combined with an extensive exhibition where companies can show case their sustainable products and solutions to visitors. In this way, we create a framework for people across the value chain to meet and share knowledge.

The number of visitors at Building Green Copenhagen is normally around 7000-8000, and our visitors spend on average four hours at the event. That tells us that our guests take their time to get inspired by the many solutions on show at the stands, as well as that our stages draw in large audiences.
