Ihavealwaysstatedwhenmytwokids,KaylieandPatrick, graduatecollegeIwouldliketograduatelife.Kayliewill beahighschoolseniorthisyearandPatrickahighschool freshman,sothatputsmeontheclockfor8moreyearsof workingprofessionally.Iamcurrentlyonanextremely focusedandexcitingjourney,andthatisleadingMerchants FleetastheirCEO.

certainextent,ourDNAorourinnatecharactergetsus started.Butitisuptouswhatwedowithitfromthere.We canalllearntobecomeMADEleaders.

Ihaveseenthistimeandtimeagaininmyowncareer. LeadersIhadthechancetoworkwithwhomaynothave believedthattheycouldbeleadersatthestart,butonce theyreceivedsomecoachingandhadtheopportunityto learnfromandemulateothergreatleaders,theystartedto developthetraitsofleadersthemselves.
