s the Chairman of The Travel Corporation (TTC), in my over 60 years of exploring, I have been fortunate to build an incredibly successful travel company, together with my family and a brilliant team of industry professionals. The year 2020 marks the 100th anniversary of our family’s legacy in travel. In 1920, my parents Evelyn and Solomon Tollman laid the foundation for what would become TTC by opening a small hotel in Paternoster, 150 km up the Atlantic coast from Cape Town, South Africa.

Complaint Procedure: If you have a problem during your vacation please inform Luxury Gold’s Traveling Concierge/Local Representative immediately, who will try to make things right. If the matter was not resolved locally, please write to Luxury Gold’s Guest Relations Department at the address below within sixty (60) days of the end of the Luxury Gold vacation, as it is important that you provide us the information quickly. Please quote your booking reference number and all relevant information. Failure to follow this procedure may delay or deny us the opportunity to investigate and rectify the problem, which may affect the way your complaint is dealt with and your rights under this contract. Accordingly, any claim not received in writing within this time is waived and barred. In any legal action, arbitration, or other proceeding to enforce, interpret or construe the terms of this Agreement, or concerning any grievance relating to the trip, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover its actual reasonable legal fees, costs and expenses. Guests who purchase from within California: Transactions entered into
with Luxury Gold are covered by the California Travel Consumer Restitution Fund (TCRF) if the guest is located in California at the time of payment. Repeat Luxury Gold travelers are automatically enrolled into Club Bon Voyage where they enjoy access to exclusive sales and savings, including an exclusive 5% saving on all newly released trips for a limited time and a 5% saving on select journeys and departures thereafter – combinable with Early Payment Discount. After you have completed your fourth journey with us, you are eligible for the 5% savings on any journey and at any time. Redeeming this discount is limited to one journey per calendar year (you must book after your initial journey is completed) and will be applied to an eligible, higher priced journey, if you book two journeys at once. SECOND JOURNEY DISCOUNT: Book two Luxury Gold journeys of seven days or more and save on the lower priced journey. Take three journeys and save on two. All journeys must be booked at the same time and on the same booking number to qualify. Savings may vary by journey – see individual journey planner box on relevant journey page for details. Not applicable to journeys with overnight or multi-day train or cruise components. Can be combined with other discounts. TRIPLE ROOM DISCOUNT: Triple rooms are based on three guests sharing a room with existing bedding, two beds in the room. Rollaways can be requested while on the journey but may be limited, cannot be guaranteed and must be paid for by the guests directly to the hotel. Triple rooms are limited and not available on all journeys. A savings or supplemental charge may apply depending on the journey. See journey planner box on the individual journey page for details. Can be combined with other discounts. YOUNG TRAVELER DISCOUNT: Must be aged 5-17 at time of travel and accompanied by at least one adult sharing a twin room. Discounts are limited to one per room. DEPOSIT PROTECTION: Should your plans change and you cancel your booking before final payment is due (as per the Summary Booking and Cancelation Terms), you will receive a credit of $200 per person, valid for up to five years from date of cancelation. This credit cannot be used as a deposit against your future booking and can only be used as a credit against your final payment. Only one credit per person can be applied to each booking.
