Everything is different in 2020, even Record Store Day. RSD was conceived in 2007 as a way for independent record store ow ners and employees to celebrate and spread the word about the unique cu lture surrounding individually owned record stores in the US and abroad. e carnival like atmosphere is somewhat subdued this year with social distancing and use of masks. Overnight camping is discouraged but the stores will have plenty of stock on hand when the doors open. e emphasis will be on finding the titles more than hanging out.
