GINA JARAMILLO
“Each of my designs are unique and one of a kind. Gina Jaramillo
My name is Gina Jaramillo. I have been married to my husband Darel for almost 25 years and have 2 daughters, Kristen and Elyse. I am business manager for a local plastic surgeon. I collect and design hats, costumes and have styled models for fashion shows and photoshoots. My small business is HappyChick Beauty Designs. I am well known in San Antonio, Texas for my festive flower crown designs. I began making fancy cascarones 10 years ago, just for fun and then added small hair accessories. My big break came when a good friend of mine asked me to design a flower crown for a photoshoot, which was later published in a magazine. That was very exciting.
My inspiration is Frida Kahlo and I add my own funky twist. Each of my designs are unique and one of a kind. I want people to enjoy their headbands for more than one occasion. Especially in San Antonio because we have a lot of events all year long. Including Fiesta San Antonio, Frida Fest, and Dia De Los Muertos, just to name a few. I work alone when I design products and my family supports me whenever I need them. I was named Inspiration 4 Life Lifetime Queen, 4 years ago and have enjoyed donating to several non-profit organizations. Community service is a big part of the Happychick Brand and I hope to continue helping others any way I can. Many of my designs have been published in magazines, including Latin Connection Magazine, Inspiration 4 Life Magazine, Dreamy Magazine and 26 and Beyond Magazine. I have modeled and styled many local fashion shows as well. Those events have made me a better designer and I get excited when people recognize me for my unique style. If you have a non-profit organization and need a donation, please reach out to me at 210-685-6832. My Facebook page is Happy chick Beauty Designs and my Instagram account is Happy chick Beauty. I always include a gift with every order and will be happy to design something special just for you.

"I have always done art. I dabble in multiple mediums. I love doing sand art, blowdryer art, making small scale sculpts, body paint but I am most proud of my Flutter of Color butterflies. Each butterfly is an original." Instagram @flutterofcolor

y c u L ings r p S My Name is Lucy Springs. Most of my work is done in ceramics, functional and non- functional, but I play around with other mediums such as polymer clay, metal embossing and beads. I took community clay classes at Southwest School of Art beginning in 2003 and now strictly work out of my home studio. Most of my work are pieces I’ve sold with the exception of the only unfired sculpture which I recently finished. I participated in the Community Art project which was commissioned to Margarita Cabrera at San Francisco de la Espada, called Arbol de la Vida : Voces de Tierra and have 3 sculptures there.
