1 Tell us about your Business/Product I love that I am able to assist in the buying and selling of properties, but I am also able to help you build your DREAM I do work with GJ Gardner Homes and work closely with the builder to give you a quote on building on your lot!

2 When did you start your Business? I started my Real Estate journey in December 2021

3 Why did you start your Business? This is my 2nd career and I want to empower others to the possibility of home ownership

4 What is the main message or purpose of your Business? Because I was told that I couldn’t and shouldn’t be a home owner, my goal is to encourage just one person to believe that they too can be a home owner, especially if they have been told that they can ’ t do it!

My name is Ana Banda and I am an empty nester and my 2nd career is in Real Estate I am about community empowerment and am glad to be a resource for anyone who has questions or doubts about home ownership When I was 25 years old, I became a sole home owner and although I was very proud of my accomplishment, my boss at the time told me that I made a mistake and that I would lose this home soon to foreclosure He went on to say that I would not make it because I was “ just a woman and a Mexican woman at that” 22 years later, I still own that home and am now ironically in a position to guide others to the American dream of home ownership God is Good! Si Se Puede!

5 Who or what Inspired you to do what you do? My parents instilled in me that I can be a homeowner and can do anything that I dream of having if I put in the work My parents came to America to give us a better opportunity I want to make mis padres orgullosos!

6 Do you have a Team or Staff? I am a solo act, but I have partners in the industry that I can connect you to!

7 How can you help others through your Business? Most importantly for me is to inspire others to become home owners! I can ’ t be everyone ’ s realtor, but I can be that person in your corner encouraging you to try for that dream A resource to the community

1. Introduce yourself and tell us a little about “You”. We are Grunts Grill (Food Truck). Regina and George Vega are the owners of a food truck specializing in cheesesteaks and hand pressed burgers. Are we able to do more? Yes! We cater bbq's, lasagna and much more!

2. Tell us about your Business Product. We use great quality steak and ground beef to create amazing foods from a local to Atascosa meat market.

3. When did you start the Business? We started our business in 2021.

4. Why did you start your Business? We started as a small business as a small catering company but eventually opened a food truck due to covid.

Once we lost our jobs, we decided it was time to start working for ourselves.

5. What is the main message or purpose of your Business? We are here to serve you. Our food and love for making people happy makes us happy.

6. Who or what Inspired you to do what you do? Eachother! My husband and I inspire each other to do more, be more and try harder than we ever have.

7. Do you have a Team or Staff?

Our son is our cook. He actually runs the entrire truck. Dominic took marketing and became the key token we needed for our truck.

8. How can you help others through your Business? We host a yearly giving back and this is a big way to help. We are from the southside of San Antonio and love giving back.

Emailing is great! As a mom and pop shop, we are the cooks, cashiers and coordinators so emails are the best contact.

July 4th has a lot of fun traditions. Many of us celebrate the Fourth of July every year with fireworks, barbecues, concerts and parades. Growing up, you may have learned why it is we do those things We celebrate Independence Day on July 4 because that’s the day the Founding Fathers signed the Declaration of Independence. However,

that’s not technically true

Although the Declaration was adopted on July 4, 1776, it wasn’t signed by most people until a month later. Read on for some more interesting 4th of July facts and history and enjoy July 4, 2023 by showing them off at your barbecue.

On July 2, 1776, the Continental Congress voted in favor of declaring independence from Great Britain The Declaration of Independence was officially adopted two days later, marked by the ringing of the Liberty Bell at Independence Hall in Philadelphia.

At the time, John Adams believed that July 2, not July 4, would be the date remembered by history

"The Second Day of July 1776, will be the most memorable Epocha, in the History of America,” Adams wrote in a letter to his wife on July 3 of that year.

“I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated, by succeeding Generations, as the great anniversary Festival.”

Although our Independence Day celebrations fall on a different date, today’s July 4 festivities would look familiar to Adams, who called for people to celebrate the day with “Pomp and Parade, with Shews, Games, Sports, Guns, Bells, Bonfires and Illuminations from one End of this Continent to the other from this Time forward forever more ”

However, other early July 4 traditions have not carried through to the present day. Some colonists celebrated the day by holding mock funerals for England’s King George III, as a way of reinforcing America’s victory over the British monarchy, according to History com

The Fourth of July was celebrated annually throughout the 18th and 19th centuries, and in 1870, Congress declared the day a federal holiday But it wasn’t until 1941 that the date became a paid federal holiday for federal employees

Our very first SA Talent Night at Mi Familia at the Rim was a huge success!!! It was a full house!! Every single person was amazing!!! Thank you again to the Cortez family, Gerardo, JC and all the waiters that helped us, for this wonderful opportunity to Host this event at your establishment.
