The modern classic style is inspired by some iconic styles like Victorian and Art Deco but always combined with modern and minimalistic styles. The style is not the most modern but is up-to-date and very trendy. The color palette is often based on different tones of browns, beiges, blacks, whites and greys.
Neutral Colors work so well as a base as it keeps an interior looking fresh and styled without appearing dated. You can then use color to accent or highlight using star pieces of furniture, accessories or art. KELLY HOPPEN

Open the door to a sophisticated contemporaneity and choose design pieces that combine the classic style with the most refined tastes from modern times. A background with the walls painted in neutral and light colours is all you need to start the decoration and give light to the entire area. In terms of furniture, you don’t always need several pieces to decorate the entryway. When the motto is ‘less is more’, a simple classic golden chair with an eye-catching mirror with small golden details can be the perfect formula to create an impressive and unique ambience in an entryway that is meant to be the perfect invitation to rest of the house. There are several options of classic pieces of furniture that are usually automatically associated to entryways. And with all those options, you basically have two options. You can either go with the flow or be original enough to make a strong statement of uniqueness and sophistication. One of those classic pieces that can be seen as must-have in an entryway is a mirror. Mirrors comprise a History full of mysteries and legends. But if you want to be original, then the secret here is to pick a model that, with its distinctiveness, doesn’t need anything else around it. Recreate a stunning mysterious ambience with a single mirror like this Marie Antoinette by Boca do Lobo and the set will be complete.

Add only a few modern details to the classic composition and the result could only be perfection. What could be a better inspiration source for interior design than History? History left us a precious heritage of eternal and iconic pieces of furniture that have the power to be completely up-to-date decade after decade, century after century. And if you combine them with modern and elegant lighting pendants, for instance, the interior design set will be polished enough to conquer the most refined tastes.

One very important aspect (and maybe the most crucial starting point) in interior design is that your house is the most immediate reflection of your personality. And, at the same time, the entryway is the very first thing you get to see from a house. With that in mind, think of what you are and how you want others to see you before decorating an entryway. The combination of the warm and earthy colours from the picture is perfect if you want to recreate a romantic and seductive entryway. Complete that hypnotising ambience with a simple and elegant white velvet armchair by a side table and mirror with elegant and Nature-inspired details.
