WELCOME TO LE CHALET Early Learning School • Montreux • Switzerland

The foundations for your child’s learning are being built before they can even walk and talk. An OECD study* released in January 2020 showed that quality Early Years education makes a significant quality early years learning, as opposed to simpler childcare. Our Inspired approach to Early Learning will help your child to develop the lifelong skills they need to succeed.

Learning Through Play An Inspired Early Years education can accelerate a child’s future learning. Scientific research is clear that an Early Years education can be transformative for a child's learning later in life. Making connections and relationships, through enquiry-based learning, is at the centre of the Inspired approach . Our creative and exploratory pedagogies in Early Years prepare children to maximise learning as they move up into the rigorous teacher-guided curriculum. Le Chalet works closely with the Foundation Stage to guarantee a smooth transition from our crèche to the school and has designed a dynamic programme of creative education. We welcome children from a broad international community. It helps children to have a better understanding of the world. Plus, bilingual infants and toddlers show more creativity, better conflict resolution and problem solving than monolingual children.

Le Chalet activities are adapted to suit the age of the children, allowing them to explore their potential within a secure environment. Alternating between structured activities and informal time encourages your child to develop their creativity, imagination, and attention, as well as various intellectual and motor functions. Simple and enjoyable activities stimulate your child and help to develop their confidence through embracing new experiences.
