Local Loves: Batemans Bay’s Mogo Zoo
If you love animals big and small, then head to the Mogo Wildlife Park for a unique opportunity to connect with the wonders of the natural world. With an amazing collection of exotic animals and countless ways to get up close and personal with incredible wildlife, there’s so much to see and do here this winter.
ANIMAL ENCOUNTERS
African Servals - Cat lovers will be thrilled to meet the African Serval, one of the world’s most exotic felines. Step inside the enclosure with the cat keeper to watch them play and take close-up photos. 16 years + 10:30am daily $150 pp or $250 for 2 people (Admission not included)
Emperor Tamarins - If you love monkeys, then head to the Emperor Tamarin enclosure where you can meet these friendly natured primates as they greet you with their unique chirps and whistles. 10 years + (Children 10-15 years must be accompanied by an adult) 10:30am daily $150 pp or $250 for 2 people (Admission not included)
Binturongs - The Binturong is one of the world’s most fascinating animals from the jungles of Indonesia. You can expect to get up close and personal with this awesome mammal inside their enclosure and have the opportunity to pat them too. 16 years + 1:30pm daily $150 pp or $250 for 2 people (Admission not included)
Southern White Rhino - Step inside the Southern White Rhino enclosure and watch these magnificent animals wander the Savannah plains. This amazing encounter brings you right next to the male Rhino, giving you a great photo opportunity and the chance to even have a pat. 12 years + (Children 12-15 years must be accompanied by an adult) 2pm daily $200 pp up to 4 people or $600 for 4 people (Admission not included)
White Lions - If you’re after something a little more thrilling, then opt for a close encounter with a White Lion. Expect to come face to face with this amazing big cat as they greet you at the gate, ready for you to hand feed them some lunch. 16 years + 2:30pm Weekends $150 pp or $250 for 2 people (Admission not included)
Squirrel Monkeys - If you’re after a bit of fun and laughter, then the cheeky Squirrel Monkeys will certainly brighten your day. As you enter their enclosure, expect these mischievous animals to jump on your shoulder looking for food. 16 years + 9:30am and 12:00pm daily $150 pp or $250 for 2 people (Admission not included)
Red Pandas - Do you like the idea of feeding a beautiful Nepalese Red Panda? Go and say hello to these gentle animals and join them for their morning or afternoon feed of fruits and vegetables. 12 years + (Children 12-15 years must be accompanied by an Adult) 9.30am daily $150 pp or $250 for 2 people (Admission not included)
Tiger - If you’re looking to get your adrenalin racing, then sign up to meet Kinwah, the impressive male Tiger at Mogo Wildlife Park. Get up close and personal with this beautiful cat and be amazed by his size, power and appetite. 16 years + 10am, 12pm 2pm daily $150 pp or $250 for 2 people (Admission not included)
Meerkats - Would you like to meet and feed a cute Meerkat? Arguably one of the most popular encounters at Mogo Wildlife Park, this experience will have you giving the Meerkats their favourite treats and letting these inquisitive animals climb on you. 10 years + (Children 10-15 years must be accompanied by an adult) 10.30am 12.00pm 2.30pm Weekdays 10.30am 12.00pm 1:30pm 2.30pm Weekends $175 pp or $300 for 2 people (Admission not included)
FEEDING TIMES AND KEEPER TALKS
Giraffe feeding - 11:15am to 1:30pm Weekdays, 11:15am and 1:30pm Weekends, public and school holidays$20.00 pp. This is suitable for all the family and an amazing experience with our giraffes. No need to book, you can buy your ticket at reception on arrival.
Animal feeding - Grab a feed cone and feed the deers, kangaroos, camels and ostriches. $3 per feed cone. This is suitable for all the family.
Keeper talks Gorilla - 12pm Weekends, Lion - 11am Weekends
