our invitation should set the tone for your wedding, reflecting its theme and colors as well as your own personality. If you are at the invitation stage of your wedding plans, most likely you have already made significant decisions such as the date, time, place and theme of your special day. Now all you have to do is choose how the invitation will reflect those choices. Non-traditional apparel has made its way down the aisle; the latest trend is for the bride to wear something that reflects her personality. Big names in wedding fashion have already responded to the independent woman who is looking for a non-traditional wedding dress. Vera Wang, Marchesa, Reem Acra, and Ramona Keveza have all showcased splashes of color on the runway through unexpected accents and accessories. The more romantic color choices include soft pink, mint green and baby blue whereas gold and silver remain popular for that regal look. Other options include scarlet, kelly green and purple. Having trouble deciding on one color? Try combining colors by using lace overlays, appliques, capes, feather boas, or beading. These unique touches offer countless opportunities to add vibrancy to your wedding gown. Diversity of style will give you more options. Just remember, it may look amazing on a high fashion model in a magazine or plain awful on a hanger in the store, but you won’t know for sure how it works on you until you try it.
