Kellie and Rick’s story is one that is probably more common these days that a lot of people share, they met online. Kellie was attracted to Rick’s funny profile and Rick was excited about how beautiful and intelligent Kellie seemed in hers. Rick was excited about how beautiful and intelligent Kellie seemed in hers. After many messages, they finally agreed to meet for a first date. Being very cautious, Kellie agreed to meet Rick at her friend’s apartment. They found themselves at a Greek restaurant, chatting up a storm.

After dinner, Kellie took charge and they headed to downtown New Orleans where they laughed, danced and talked as if they had known each other for a long time. They even shared their first kiss on a balcony overlooking Frenchmen Street.

Kellie and Rick continued dating for a few more weeks before they professed their love for each other in a courtyard not far from where they had their first date. Rick surprised Kellie when he proposed to her at a family gathering in 2018. They had planned to get married in late 2021 but decided to move their plans to earlier in the year when Kellie’s mom became very ill. With the help of Lisa Licciardi and Here Comes The Bride, Kellie and Rick were married in a beautiful outside wedding at sunset on April 3rd of 2021 at the Barn in Pearl River where they also celebrated her mother’s 80th birthday.

Their story has been filled with laughter, great memories, and a lot of love. They have been through an awful lot together, both good and bad, but through it all, they leaned on their love for each other. They enjoy the outdoors including the beach and the mountains, cooking together, and most of all planning their future..
