By accessible friendly they are not talking simply disable friendly ie wheelchair ramps & disable toilet. But in fact, applying a few other simpler criteria. Accessibility friendly covers other functions, most of which are low cost & low impact changes that would make a dramatic change to clients with accessibility issues.
A few examples are:
• Quiet zones, for those clients sensitive to noise.
• Hearing loop kit stored at reception, rrp £150
• Mobility scooter charging point, clients would pay for this as an add on service!
• Adapt your on-line appointment booking page to become accessible to all e.g., voice prompt.
