My travel bucket list for 2024…

Looks busy! Egypt, Africa, South America, Cuba, Mexico. It’s hard to narrow this list down when you work for a travel company that goes everywhere! I’m most excited about visiting South America. There are so many amazing countries and they’re all so unique. My first stop will be Machu Picchu—need I say more?

The first thing I’m going to eat…

Is anything local! I’m a big sucker for new food experiences. I’ve also heard amazing things about Brazilian steak!

My favourite Inspiring Vacations tour is…

The 11 Day Traditions of Japan which I did last year and it was phenomenal. We also have some incredible South America tours that I’d love to try. My ultimate travel buddy is Patrick Dempsey—is he an option?

My wish for 2024 is…

Adding three more countries to my tally, and to try at least five things out of my comfort zone.

My travel bucket list for 2024 looks like…

All things Italian! I have travelled to Europe a few times but Italy has always eluded me. My fiancé and I are going to join Inspiring Vacations’ 12 Day Deluxe Italy By Rail—the perfect trip to wine and dine our way through Italy.

I’m most excited about…

The food! I love Italian cuisine (who doesn’t?) and look forward to my first meal (pasta) and spending long afternoons eating and drinking among ancient architecture—my first stop will be the Colosseum.

My favourite IV tour is…

Inspiring Canada & Alaska. It is the perfect introduction to the breathtaking Canadian Rockies. After exploring the Rockies, the group boards a scenic 7-night cruise through the Inside Passage to Alaska. It’s a special part of the world and a place I can’t wait to get back to.

I hope 2024 is the year that…

I finally visit Nepal. I’ve always wanted to be in the presence of the Himalayas and I will make it happen in 2024! By the end of 2024, I hope to have eaten my way through Italy and scaled Mount Everest!

My ultimate travel buddy is…

My fiancé Sasha. She is up for (almost) anything and we have travelled the world together. I look forward to many more adventures with her in the future.

My 2024 travel bucket list includes…

New Zealand and Tasmania but I’m most excited about New Zealand. Travelling with two young kids can be tricky, so finding somewhere close to Australia that has a lot to offer everyone is important. My family and I love getting out into nature, so New Zealand would be the perfect place to explore.

My first stop will be…

Queenstown. From wineries, to adrenaline activities and farms, there will be plenty to keep everyone happy. I also can’t wait to go to Fergburger and order one of their famous burgers—a ‘must do’ when in Queenstown—followed by some local wine and cheese that I can enjoy once the kids are in bed!

My favourite Inspiring Vacations tour is…

Needless to say, my 2025 travel bucket list will include Sri Lanka!

My ultimate travel buddy is…

If I don’t say my husband I might get in trouble! He is a lot of fun though, and I’ve been travelling with him for years. He’s very easy going and likes going with the flow.

Revisiting Korea, and hopefully Italy, Greece, Spain and Portugal.

I’m most excited about visiting…

Korea! I visited last year in summer, but this time I’ll be going in spring. I’ve only seen photos of Korea’s cherry blossoms, so seeing them in person is going to be great.

The first place I’m going to visit is…

Any street market! I’m a fan of Korean fashion and the clothes are great. Followed by eating Korean fried chicken with a cold, crisp beer—what more could you want?

My favourite Inspiring Vacations tour is…

10 Day Premium Japan By Rail. All the boring parts are done for you (like organising rail passes), so all you have to do is show up and enjoy the beauty of Japan. The accommodation is centrally-located, the guides are great and the tour is incredibly priced.

My ultimate travel buddy is…

My good mate, Anthony. We’re so similar, which makes travelling together easy, and there’s also something so freeing and eye-opening about travelling solo which I also enjoy.

My wish for 2024 is…

Cheaper airfares! I also love playing basketball so upping my average to 18 points per game would be a dream!
