The fine art of photographer Sharon Risedorph Architectural photographer Sharon Risedorph has travelled the world from her south of market studio to capture pristine images of construction, buildings and interiors by noted international architects and designers. She is the photographer of choice for local architects, interior designers and product designers in San Francisco and the bay area. INSTUDIO Interior design directors Samuel Fleming Lewis and Stephen Kladder call on Sharon not only to photograph their completed projects but to view her variety of personal work that may complement the interior design projects of clients. Sharon is an artist who uses a camera as her medium. Photographers see beauty in large and small details and ordinary things that others overlook. Living in a south of market loft before there were officially lofts in San Francisco or what we now call “SOMA” existed , this photographer has always been advanced in art, design, living and style. Sharon's work, of differing styles, is being shown concurrently, demonstrating her depth as a photographer and artist in two separate exhibits: 1. South of Market at Radius Restaurant in an ongoing exhibit of Risedorph’s photographs depicting edgy urban building details: Radius, 1123 Folsom Street, San Francisco CA, info@radius.com; and, 2. North of Market, at the Eco Center until November 24, 2010: an exhibit of Sharon's architectural photography, "ELEGANT PIT STOPS, the historicist garages of San Francisco." 11 Grove Street, San Francisco, CA, www.sfenvironment.org
Both exhibits display artful beauty seen through the eyes of a photographer. Sharon Risedorph, 761 Clementina Street, San Francisco CA 94103, Telephone 415.431.5851, website: sharonrisedorph.com
