Introduction This magazine develops information about the present progressive. You are going to see interesting information and also different ways to learn English language about topics, explanations, examples, pictures, games and some more. The Whole information will help you to get new knowledge. everything will be in an interactive way to get you involved into this. We consider this is a quite right method to learn any language because it is funny and makes you think in an easily way. This magazine also helps you to improve your English level, to develop skills and to live English in a meaningful way.


Main objective The main objective of this magazine is teach to students of fifth grade different kinds of topics about the English language, for that goal we use several tools like games, pictures, examples, mind maps and some more. We did this magazine with an only objective, make our classes more interesting for the students, so they can learn easily all this English topics but also they got fun in the process. The idea to make a magazine was for try a different way to teach the English language to students, one in which all they get knowledge by means of different and interactive ways.

Biography

I’m Wilmer Fabian Ibañez, I’m 19 years old and i’m studying English degree at the Gran Colombia university. I am learning this language, all the time i’m trying to get new knowledge about English and i really enjoy do any kind of activity associated with with English. I work in logistics at the malls, i love music, i really like play the guitar, write songs and poetry, i enjoy do exercise. When i was creating the magazine i learned a lot of new things while i was searching information about this topic, so i think that all this knowledge that i got was helpful for the project for my future profession as a teacher.


Biography

I’m Jonathan Rodriguez Diaz, I’m 22 years old and i’m studying English degree at the Gran Colombia university. I am learning this language because i think that is really important know not only know one language on your life, i practice enough as i have time and i like get new knowledge about English. I work in a textile printing factory, i love read philosophy books , watch horror movies i really like play tennis on my holidays and i enjoy do swimming. When i was creating this magazine i learned several new knowledge while i was investigate, so i think that this was really good for design our project.


Chapter 1 In this chapter you can see the meaning of the present progressive and what is the difference between present progressive in English and present progressive in Spanish. You will find different explanations with examples, some kind of activities and one mind map.

What is present progressive ? The present progressive is the combination between the verb “to be� and the present participle, present participle is only the (ing) form of a verb

Present progressive in English and Spanish In English present progressive can be used to describe what is happen now or what will be happen in the future, but in Spanish is only used to describe an action that is in process of taking place, it’s not use for future actions.

In English present progressive describe what is happen now or what will be happen in the future, but in Spanish is only used to describe an action that is in process of taking place

Chapter 2 In this chapter you can see what is going to and will, but also you could be recognized their differences with examples and another kind of activities. At the end of this chapter you will see a mind map.

What is Going to and will ? “Going to” is a grammatical construction used in English to refer to different types of future occurrences. Specially plans or intentions. “Will” is used to talk about something that can happen in the future specially predictions or immediate decisions.

Differences between Going to and will Going to: -We use “going to�to talk about a planned activity for future. -For intentions or plans in a near future.

Will: -When we decide to do something at the time of speaking. -We use “will� for predictions in remote time. -For requests, invitations and offers.

“Will” is used to talk about a prediction in the future, but also when we do a immediate decision.

Thanks This magazine was a very good experience for my career, because i got new knowledge and i learned things about this topic.
