Sanctions / Disclosure of violations 2012 4 cases ended with the decision of the Special Panel to disclose the violation, including the name of the company 1. Distribution among HCPs promotional leaflets "Nazarel“ by Teva. The statement of Teva on “Rapid release of symptoms” does not contain certain explanation and has no link to the source of information. The materials doesn’t contain precautions, warnings and side effects. The leaflet does not contain the address of pharmaceutical company or its representative in the RF 2. Teva initiated a speech at the Pulmonology conference contained the disguised and inconsistent promotion of "Tevacomb" without clear indication of its sponsor/organizer. The presentation was made by a speaker as an assistant professor of a medical university who didn’t disclose the information on his labor relations with Teva. 3. Noncompliance by GlaxoSmithKline Healthcare with effective Special Panel Decision (non-termination of using of advertising slogan «Ничто не борется с простудой на губах быстрее»), recognized by the Special Panel as misleading and violating AIPM Code. A violation is deemed serious if it is repeated within 24 months involving the same pharmaceutical product, or a similar violation with another product. GlaxoSmithKline Healthcare already informed AIPM about termination of using the slogan 4. Publication of the article which actually represents an advertising material of “Lazolvan” and contains the statements of absolute character. The article was written/published with direct involvement of Boehringer Ingelheim LLC, but without clear indication of the sponsor/organizer in the article.
