MOTORCYCLE CHAIN OFF-ROAD MOTORCYCLE CHAIN Instructions 1.) Run your new motorcycle chain, beginning on the top of the rear sprocket, in the direction that the chain will turn when in use. Make sure the two ends meet in a place where it is easy to get your hands in to install the master link. 2.) Connect the two end links on your motorcycle chain by pushing the master link into place so that one pin of the link goes through the end of each end link. If the chain is and X or O Ring make sure to install 2 rings on the rivet link first, insert the link and install remaining 2 rings then top plate then circlip 3.) Place the cap end of the master link over the pins where they stick through the other links. 4.) Using a pair of pliers, install the locking circlip on the cap end with the closed end (rounded end) facing in the direction of the travel of the chain.
