Respect for people

During February at ECE we worked on the Child Protection Unit in the Second Step Program promoting self-care and safety.

Regarding values, we made emphasis on the value of respect which we reinforced by teaching the importance of practicing it in our daily life.

A GUIDE FOR PARENTS ON HOW TO PRACTICE THE VALUE OF RESPECT Respect is one of the most important values that we must teach children; not only to respect adults and authority figures, but also, other children and themselves. The basis of good coexistence lies in mutual respect and it is also the terrain where solid self-esteem flourishes.

WHAT CAN YOU DO AT HOME: How to teach children the value of respect?
