Science fairs are a global movement that reaches young researchers from elementary and high schools, encouraged by the network between those science fairs that take place in different parts of the world.
FITECBRASIL ARISES FROM A PURPOSE:
Contribute to Brazilian scientific production, encouraging the practise of investigative thinking in youth, promoting cultural exchange.
Started as a symposium, SITEC, in 2001 - The Interactive Technology and Science Symposium - grew and gained recognition from the entire school community and the Londrina region. Thus, it ceased to be a symposium and began to be qualified as a science fair.
FITECBRASIL – Innovation, Technology and Science Fair – carries a 22-year history of research, transformations and ideas being exposed by young people in elementary and high school. A movement of regional impact that, in the year 2022, became national.
FITECBRASIL has become an opportunity for young scientists from all over the country and, currently, it is consolidated as the first national science fair that takes place in the state of Paraná - Brazil.
As it has become a nationwide fair, FITECBRASIL is now promoted by Trilhar Institute, which aims to provide educational and scientific opportunities to young people across the country.
