Intercon is a leading international interior architecture office, specialising in mid to large scale interior design projects. Intercon’s work around the world strives to create unique spaces that meet the requirements of their customers and their markets, where beauty, aesthetics and innovation blend seamlessly with sustainable functionality.

Intercon was first set up in London in 1979 as the design arm of Intercon Ltd. In 1988 Mohammed Adib took over as Managing Director and steered the company to expand and diversify by setting up its own offices in Barcelona. In 1993 Maria Escalè joined the company to develop the interior architecture work and in 2011 Maria Teresa FarrÊ joined as Organization Director to guide the company in its growth plan. Current staff team has twenty two architects and interior designers from eight different nationalities. This international base has helped us establish ourselves in the ever increasing markets that we are present in. Intercon, through strategic partnerships, is currently actively present in London, Dubai, Cairo, Shanghai and Almaty.

Shatt Al Arab 5 Star Millenium operated hotel for the Ministry of Tourism (200 keys) including private villas, shopping mall and 9 hole golf course on the riverbank of the Shatt Al Arab river. Fontainebleu Refurbishment of an existing hotel into a boutique hotel, 45 minutes to the south of Paris. A complete restoration of the historical building (parts dating from the 17th century), 20 rooms and 7 thematic suites, as well as a Restaurant and a Banquette Hall.
