Innovation in motion. LEGACY Exel brand was founded in 1960 by three chemists that began to manufacture electronic detonators for explosives. The name Exel drives from the company’s origin, explosive electronics. Composite products were introduced in 1970. Since, we have been one of the foremost Finnish sports equipment manufactures. In 1973 we started the production of cross-country poles and 1976 Innsbruck olympic games were the breakthrough for Exel crosscountry poles. The rest is golden history. To this day Exel is known for it’s pioneering spirit that has led to innovations, shaping the sports as we know it.

AVENGER2 QCB BASKET Totally new Quick Change Basket (QCB) from EXEL which is made in FINLAND. Allows quick and easy exchange option of the basket for different track conditions. EXEL QCB basket system includes two different winter baskets and roller tip. Suitable for 8,5mm and 10mm shafts.

RACE GRIP Designed and engineered together with world class athletes. Ergonomically designed narrow-shaped nordic pole grip for the best optimal control of the pole.
X-COUNTRY POLES COLLECTION
Special rubber added to the Race Grip’s cork material makes it last much longer, meaning the grip does not wear out as easily as the regular grips do. Race Grip is designed to fit into 17mm top end shafts.

Quick-Click Grip based on Race Grip. Just pull the top part up and press the button inward while pushing the strap to the grip. Special rubber added to the QC Grip’s cork material makes it last much longer, meaning the grip does not wear out as easily as the regular grips do. QC Grip is designed to fit into 17mm top end shafts.
FUSION2 QC & FUSION2 STRAPS Updated versions of our popular Fusion straps. New materials are softer, but at the same time stronger, making the Fusion2 straps now even more comfortable to use. Updated velcro material. Normal plastic buggle in the strap side is removed and tightening part is added to the strap frame to remove any hard spots inside the straps.
